Verdict: Make sure you get a very supportive sports bra so that you don’t sag when you’re older.

Relief day! But not for The Fit Test Dummies, who rest by doing a P90x weight day.

 

Verdict: Do not skip relief unless you are at David and Shuna’s fitness level! They are simply supplementing all the cardio and core training with some upper body strength training.

The Fit Test Dummies are starting their last week of the 30 day challenge with Vertical Plyo!

 

Verdict: What David and Shuna have been missing from The Asylum is strength training. This workout is good for people who wish to push themselves to the next level of fitness. However, David and Shuna are in maintenance mode and simply trying to stay where they are.

Game Day plus Overtime! How did the Fit Test Dummies feel after their third time doing it?

 

Verdict: With each repetition of a workout, it gets easier. But, like David says, the easier it gets, the harder you can go!

The Fit Test Dummies attack the Strength workout with some different equipment to see if they can get a better result.

 

Verdict: David’s gripe about the Strength exercises is that the heavy dumbbells may be dangerous to lift overhead when your hands get sweaty. Here, he modifies the routine by lifting sandbags rather than dumbbells so that he is safer underneath the weights.

With Shuna weighted down with her vest, can she keep up with David on Day 23: Speed and Agility? Watch and find out!

 

Verdict: Getting into this last third of The Asylum can be tough, so it helps to keep yourself motivated by just pushing past what you think you can do and allowing your body to train. It also helps to have a support system of others motivating you when you can’t do it yourself.

Verdict: By day 21, our Fit Test Dummies are definitely feeling stronger, and are able to concentrate on the areas they want to work on. After doing the workout a few times, they now know the moves and are executing them properly to get the best workout they can.
