Verdict: This is a well made piece of equipment with sturdy tethers, high density foam handles and rubber footholds that are easy to get into and out of. The resistance bands also make it easier for less conditioned people to train with it because it makes it easier to get back into an upright position.
Jill and David try the Core X Systems on this episode of Fit Test Dummies. Developed by a rehabilitation expert, Core X Systems is used by professional athletes like the Los Angeles Lakers.
Verdict: Although you might not want to stretch in the bands, and the straps could be a bit more secure, the Core X Systems keep your muscles engages all throughout the workout. That’s because there is constant resistance to your whole body. 10!

Verdict: It starts out cheesy, but don’t let that fool you. This is a great workout that will drench you in sweat. It is an intense 30 minutes and great for your arms.
Aloha! David and Shuna take a day trip to the Rose Bowl to try out the Kahuna Big Stick. Taking inspiration from paddleboards, the Big Stick strengthens your core and stability.
Verdict: The Big Stick works out the stabilizer muscles in your upper body, working your core and arms. In addition to exercise, the Big Stick is fun! We give it a 10.

Watch David and special Fit Test Dummy Luann use Spri medicine balls to try the Men’s Health Tarheels 200 Medicine Ball Workout in two levels of fitness.
Verdict: We love Spri’s balls. The great thing about the Spri medicine balls are the handles on either side, giving you more stability in carrying them. Ball workouts, medicine or stability, always gives you a great variety, and are able to work a number of different muscles.

Verdict: To get those defined, deep abs, you need to train with resistance. The Tower 200 allows you to do that, while giving you great exercises in just 3 minutes. We advise that you do more, however, because you need more substantial time under tension.
