Welcome to Season 2 of Fit Test Dummies! We decided to start this season out with a bounce using Spri’s Step360.
3 minutes routines. 6 phases of training. 0 rest. Can you keep up? We kick off season 2 of Fit Test Dummies with a workout utilizing Spri’s Step 360, as well as other Spri products. Watch David and Jill strengthen their core and get the workout of a lifetime.
You can do anything you can think of, remember to make it fun!
Here is the list of moves we did for the circuit.
Lunges (10 reps on each side)
Single Leg Hold Back Leg Lift (10 reps on each side)
Single Leg Knee Ups (15 reps on each side)
Lunge to Single Leg Lift (15 reps on each side)
Side Leg Lift (20 reps on each side)
Single Arm Push Ups with Ball (20 reps on each side)
One Arm Military Press (15 reps on each side)
Over the Top (15 reps)
Push Up Jacks (30 reps)
Plank (15 sec hold)
Ski Abs (15 reps)
Plank to Push Ups (15 reps)
Verdict: The Step 360 engages your core by forcing you to balance during these exercises. It is easy on your knees since the Step 360 bounces with you. The workouts and the Step 360 are constructed so that they could work well with other Spri products, making the workout possibilities practically endless.
FTD Tips:
- Warm up: the most important part of the workout. Do it for 5-10min depending on your level of flexibility, level of strength and how long you’ve been working out.
- Stability Phase: this is really good for those who are just starting out and are trying to get their core centered.
- Balance Phase: make sure you’ve mastered the Stability Phase of the Step360 program so that your form is good. Watch your lower-back and always keep your core engaged.
- Great on the knees because the Step360 bounces with you.
- Side handles allows you to do a lot of hand exercise on the ball.
- Forces you to engage every muscle in your leg.
As always, work within your abilities, do what is comfortable to your body.
- **Key with lunges: keep knees at 90 degrees and make sure your knees do not go over your toes.

Hello Fans,
Last month, we traveled to San Francisco to film at the ultimate fit test playground, IHRSA 2011! We had a blast to say the least! We walked up and down every aisle and reviewed over 20 products. Everything from indoor cycling to trampolines to bed spas, Fit Test Dummies were diving in head first! We have so many hours of footage, we’ve been working around the clock to post them on our site.
Everybody there welcomed us with opened arms – embracing our outrageous hosts and their outlandish kid-like wonder everywhere we went. By the 2nd day of the convention, we had fitness brands demanding that we come to their booths to test their products. It was truly an event to remember! So far, we have 6 IHRSA videos up: LifeLine USA, M Core, Real Ryder, Total Gym, Jump Sport Fitness, and Cybex. And there’s many more to come! There’s so much exercise equipment out there that don’t have national name-brand recognition or marketing yet are on the cutting edge of fitness. So it’s our job as Fit Test Dummies to BRING THEM TO YOU!
Along with new IHRSA videos, the FTD team are gearing up for season 2. We have a brand new co-host, and brand new fitness equipment to test so get ready for some more over-the-top zaniness – with some insightful reviews sprinkled in : ). Also, keep sending us your ideas and equipment you want us to test on the show. We have some great stuff lined up!
So for everyone here at Fit Test Dummies, thanks for supporting us and we’ll see you soon! Until then, keep fighting to reach your fitness goals, and most importantly, KEEP GOING!
Sincerely,
Producer Sean

Hey Fans,
Hope you like our SpeedSac episode. Big shout out to Monte Nash and Chris Gilberti at AllSports Conditioning for supplying us with their awesome product! For those of you who have a football/track and field background like me, the SpeedSac is a great replacement for metal sled, parachute, and tire workouts. It’s convenient, safer than pulling metal, and can be used on multiple surfaces. The SpeedSac functions in the same capacity as a metal sled, but in a more user friendly manner.
And that is what makes me a fan of the SpeedSac: the ability to take it anywhere without having to lug around a 50 pound sled or tire. The weight is adjustable, and it won’t alter your running form like a sled would which can make training counterproductive. For those of you who don’t have a football or track background (like David and Madison) but are looking to get faster and stronger, the SpeedSac can strengthen your core, build fast-twitch muscles and give you the explosion and short-area quickness you’re looking for. The SpeedSac also comes with a workout regimen breaking down the exercises our hosts did along with resistance training drills. You can take your SpeedSac to the park, and get a complete workout in one session!
All in all, I recommend this product for any athlete young or old who wants to continue building core strength, speed, and explosion! Training outdoors on a hot summer day dripping in sweat… Doesn’t get any better than that! Let’s get after it Fit Test Nation!
Sincerely,
Producer Sean

While Shuna does the Brazil Butt Lift hardcore ab workout with Leandro, David and Madison decide to relax with the Flex Belt. Nobody said getting great abs was easy.
To get great abs, would you rather sweat and put in a hard workout or sit outside with a mimosa? The Fit Test Dummies show you two ways to go about it. While Shauna works hard at the Brazil Butt Lift hardcore ab workout, Madison and David relax with the Flex Belt.
Verdict: The Brazil Butt Lift is a hard workout, but the Flex Belt is no walk in the park neither. Both, however, are great ways to get those killer abs.
